How it all began
Exploring Pod was founded in 2019 by a small group of audio professionals who had spent years working in radio, music production, and digital media. We noticed a growing wave of independent creators eager to start podcasts but overwhelmed by the technical and strategic challenges involved. Studios were expensive, editing software had steep learning curves, and distribution felt like navigating a maze of conflicting advice.
We set out to build a service that removed those barriers entirely. Our founding principle was simple: give creators the same production quality that major networks enjoy, at a price point that independent voices can afford. We started with a single editing suite in Dublin and a handful of clients who trusted us with their passion projects.
Within two years, word spread. Clients referred friends, those friends referred colleagues, and before long we were producing dozens of shows spanning topics from Irish history and environmental science to entrepreneurship and comedy. Today, Exploring Pod has grown into a full-service podcast production company serving creators across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and continental Europe — but our ethos remains exactly the same: your story matters, and we are here to help you tell it brilliantly.

He manages our recording facilities, supervises all post-production workflows, and trains junior engineers. Nkechi Okonkwo
